SISTER Wives fans have called out Kody Brown for telling a lie about having a “favorite” wife and slam patriarch as “selfish.”
The TLC series posted a clip showing Kody, 54, and his ex-wives opening up about how and why he picked a favorite to the show’s Instagram page on Thursday.
In the clip, captioned: “Can a plural marriage work when there’s a ‘favorite’ wife? #SisterWives,” Christine, 51; Meri, 52; and Janelle, 54, each shared their thoughts on the subject in separate confessionals.
Meri stated: “When you have a favorite wife, it definitely doesn’t work.”
Christine revealed: “I’d seen some plural families when there was a favorite and I’m like, ‘That’s not okay.'”
“He can’t have a favorite,” asserted Janelle.
She continued: “He has to grow beyond his normal selfish capacity and be able to love all of these women in their own way and give them adequate time and connection.”
Kody then appeared in the confessional and explained: “You know, in plural marriage, if a man has a favorite wife it really has to do with loyalty.
“That he feels her loyalty, that he feels that she’s loyal to him.”
The reality TV star continued: “If you don’t feel the loyalty for a wife, you’re going to struggle with her.”
Janelle then added: “Most men fail. Obviously.”
In the post’s comment section, Sister Wives fans weighed in on Kody having a favorite and on the wives’ assessment of the situation.
One person wrote: “They’re women, not dogs, Kody. Loyalty and respect go hand-in-hand and it is earned when it is given.”
“This ‘loyalty’ thing just erks me. What he really means is subservient,” stated another before adding, “The other woman became very independent and he will have none of that.”
A third fan commented: “Kody hasn’t been in a plural marriage since he met Robyn.”
“Kody is obsessed with the term ‘loyal’ but its his code word for ‘obedient,'” mentioned a fourth.
They continued: “As soon as a wife or child starts to act and think independently, they’re labeled as no longer ‘loyal.’ Controlling Narcissist!”
A fifth commenter stated: “Soo he just admitted sobbin is his favorite lmao.”
CHRISTINE’S KARMA
Christine clapped back at her ex-husband Kody’s shady comment about “karma” with a scathing new Instagram post.
Kody blamed Christine for turning their kids against him and claimed the Sister Wives star has “got some terrible karma coming.”
Christine’s latest social media post seemed to be in direct response to Kody’s declaration.
On Wednesday, the TLC star posted a trio of photos that showed her and her new husband, David Woolley, 59, enjoying their honeymoon trip to Disneyland.
The Instagram post was captioned: “I firmly believe in living my life like I believe in Karma. I LOVE my life and it brought me to the love of my life.”
In the comment section, one person wrote: “I like the karma reference…”
Another fan commented: “When Kodi said he hoped you got your karma… every single viewer smiled and thought ‘oh she does’!!! You deserve it ALL!! So does Janelle! I want a show with just the 2 of you!”
“Congratulations! I wish you two the best! You and Jen need your own show! Can we get that? Called ‘Happily ever after Cody,'” added a third.
A fourth commenter remarked: “Lol!!! I busted out laughing at last night’s episode when Kody made the karma reference!!!”

Christine showed off her noticeably thinner figure in the Disney-themed honeymoon photos.
The first snap captured the newlyweds cuddling in front of Cinderella’s castle, donning matching Disney-themed T-shirts.
In a second snap, the reality TV star flaunted her bare legs in jean shorts while she and David posed with a Star Wars character.
She again showcased her fit physique as the couple posed at the theme park’s entrance.
FAIRYTALE CEREMONY
Christine and David tied the knot on October 7 in a fairytale ceremony at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
Most of Christine’s blended family attended except her ex-husband, Kody his wife, Robyn, 45, and their kids.
Her former sister wife Meri and daughter Gwendlyn, 21, also didn’t show up for the star’s big day.
However, Christine and Kody’s five other children, her former sister wife and BFF Janelle, and other members of their family were by her side.
Following the festivities, Christine thanked her guests for being at her nuptials in a sweet Instagram post.
“It meant the world to us to have such amazing love and support on our wedding day!” the reality star wrote.
“So grateful to be surrounded by so much love!”
